It is a Renewable Energy (RE) Policy Mechanism that will empower businesses with electricity demand of 100kW and up for the last 12 months to choose renewable energy (RE) as their exclusive source of electricity.

GEOP IN 3 EASY STEPS

STEP 1

Customer will:

Customer will select an RE supplier:

STEP 2

-Inform DU about interest in the GEOP Program
-Request for a TOU meter from the DU.

-Submit power bills from the last 12 months to an RE supplier for evaluation
-RE supplier will draft an offer based on data from the submitted power bills.
-Sign GEOP supply contract with chosen RE supplier.

-Enter a DWSA with GEOP end-user’s DU
-Get approval from the CRB for the switch.

RE supplier will :

-Inform DU 30 days prior to the effectivity of GEOP supply contract
-Sign CA with DU and TSA with NGCP
